Last night was a [virtually] perfect summer evening...after work I met Rach at her place and we walked across the street to Tri-City Park for the Summer Concert Series. The musical genre was reggae and it was absolutely fabulous sipping on white wine {a Riesling from Wolffe Vineyards to be specific - SO GOOD!} while catching up with Rach and munching on the Roca Salad from the Olive Pit {one of our pick-up-a-picnic favorites for sure}. There was an EPIC dog fight to add just another element of entertainment to the evening – but the delectable delights and congenial conversation were enough for me. After the concert we went back to her house where we enjoyed warm chocolate chip cookies and several episodes of FRIENDS coupled with fits of fanatical laughter – that show gets me EVERY time. If I wasn’t holding a bag of frozen spinach to my head and carefully calculating the distance to the nearest trash can in case of regurgitation, the evening would have been [literally] perfect!
{This life is not at all what I expected and yet I long to live fully and with great joy as I make the very most of my one wild and crazy adventure. Regardless of what the circumstances may hold, I have NO DOUBT there is a great and mighty plan and I am eagerly anticipating all the King has in store for me}

[virtual] vs. [literal]...
