now THAT is an allergy!!

Throughout my adult life, more and more of my friends have found they have food "intolerances" - Megan is gluten intolerant - it makes her tummer really upset, Kenz is also gluten intolerant - but she is also sensitive to a WIDE variety of other things like lactose and eggs and vingear (aka everything!), and Jenny just went through a whole process of being tested for food sensitivities due to inflamation causing headaches. However, NONE of the above mentioned friends have technical food ALLERGIES and until yesterday, I don't think I knew anyone who does (other than Jim - he is allergic to shellfish). Yesterday my best friend sara sent me this picture:(yes she told me she would kill me if I put this on the internet - but I convinced her that we absolutely HAD to document this - and that it is funny now [even though it was not at all funny at the time.])
Now that my friends is what you call a food ALLERGY! After going to Urgent Care (because she literally could not see) and then a visit with her primary physician, doctors have determined that although they cannot say which foods specifically Sara is allergic to (without additional testing which is in the works) - she is DEFINITELY allergic and will have to make some definite changes in her eating habits. I believe at this point they are speculating she is ALLERGIC to all wheats and glutens AND all dairy. She basically can eat nonprocessed meats, fruits, and veggies! Here is to losing weight and fast best friend!
