Well...it is official...I finished reading the Twilight series last night (all 2,379 pages of it {which I guess is nothing considering that Harry Potter is 4,224 pages long and I've read that series SEVERAL times}). And, although I rather enjoyed it overall - I am anything but a raving finatic. It was a fun choice for a summer series, but I'm definitely craving something with a bit more intrinsic value now...perhaps a little Henri Nouwen would be appropriate...or maybe the book Gan gave me for my birthday would be a good choice. I keep hearing great things about The Help too - so that is on my list. At least it is only July 13 and I am likely to finish at least one more book this summer...that is...if I don't get too caught up in all the good television I've been missing while reading about the Italian mafia of the vampire world: Volturi and shapeshifters, etc.

I FINISHED!!
