SHE (and we) DID IT!

This weekend was dedicated to Jenny Jackson’s COLLEGE GRADUATION!!! Cleaning, Decorating, Prepping, and Throwing the party was definitely enough work for one week...but of course I had to add airport duty (twice) and WAY TOO MANY errand runs to that list!! However, seeing Jen’s super smiley face and all her sweet family and friends celebrating her AMAZING accomplishment and God’s DIVINE provision for her throughout the past 4 years was worth every ounce of effort I invested.The Barefoot Contessa Coconut Cupcakes were definitely my favorite food element of the day. They were even yummier than I thought they would be…and they looked RIDICULOUSLY cute on my cupcake stand (thank you Melody!)!After all the guests had vacated, and the dishes had been cleaned and left to dry, Steven and I celebrated OUR accomplishment in hosting the party with champagne and cupcakes…then we watched (500) days of summer with Craig and Shalina and ate leftovers all evening long…SO MANY CONGRATULATIONS to you sweet Jen!! Drive safely back to Iowa and I can’t wait to see you in August when you start your REAL JOB in California! Iloveyou friend!
