Today is my dear friend Megan’s 24th birthday!!!We celebrated a few weeks ago because Megan moved to Nipomo, CA (aka. Pismo Beach) with her family and we knew we wouldn’t be able to celebrate together this weekend. I called Gan this morning and we chatted a bit, celebrated over the phone, and exchanged warm wishes. However, I must admit that my heart is a little bit sad that we won’t be seeing each other in person today. There won’t be any hugs, no deliveries of gluten-free baked goods, no driveway birthday dancing, and no outlandish staycation to celebrate throughout. SAD DAY!
Gan I wish that today we could eat our FAVORITE champagne truffles
and DISNEYLAND cupcakes
and go for a bike ride through the park even though the ducks MIGHT attack our feet
and then finish it off with dinner from the Olive Pit & a beverage or two!OH how I wish we could be together celebrating YOU because YOU my friend are a FRIEND worth CELEBRATING! iloveyou SO VERY VERY MUCH! Happy Birthday!

I wish I was able to celebrate my actual bday with you too! I appreciate all you did from a distance very much though! And we still get to celebrate with She&Him! Who can say that :)
