My friend Jen is graduating with a Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology on Saturday from Biola University and I am in the thick of party planning for her BIG CELEBRATION! Last night I spent several hours on my hands and knees doing the DEEP CLEANING in my house – it was a WRETCHED PIT. I was disgusted. Hopefully it will stay semi-clean for the next couple of days before everyone arrives for the big PARTY! I did the vast majority of the grocery shopping today on my lunch break – we are having Carne Asada/Polla Asada Tacos, Chips and Dip, Fruit Salad, Mexican Caesar Salad, Coconut Cupcakes, Brownies, and Rice Krispy Treats! YUM! Steven and I are running the last of the errands tonight then I’ll head home and iron the table cloth, put together a couple decoration type things, make the brownies and krispy treats then head to LAX to pick up her mom who flies in tonight at about 9:00pm. She will be enjoying the Master Bedroom until Saturday when Craig's moves in until the Truglio Wedding mid July. Tomorrow night I’ll prep the rest of the food and then it’s off to Biola EARLY Saturday morning to watch Jen get her diploma and turn her tassle! WAY TO GO FRIEND! SO PROUD OF YOU!!!
