megan and i have already started dreaming our ellen pt. 2 outfits - she wore the ULTIMATE ruffle on our first visit and i had a birthday outfit saved for the occassion
so NOW we're in the lurch for some seriously bright yet totally television appropriate outfits - if we end up getting called on stage to win some ridiculously amazing prize or play a game, we don't want to have any major outfit malfunctions or be totally embarassed by our trendy taste causing us to look back in horror at our clothing selections.in other news, today at lunch time i tried (desperately) to remedy the slight (totally obvious) farmer's tan situation i have going on from my one-armed burn at cal bap graduation on saturday. i laid out (in my business clothes) and took a little rest (nap) at the top of bastanchury hill and soaked up the sun (got burned again). it was deleriously delightful!
after lunch i had to cover the receptionist's desk so she could take a lunch and restroom break - i spent the hour reading same kind of different as me
which i was supposed to finish months and months ago with the bloom book club but never actually even started it...goal for 2010...start AND FINISH books! ha! so far it's a pretty good tale (amazing true story) but i'm only 63 pages in so my opinion could change ENTIRELY by the time i'm finished. i DID finish i will carry you
by Angie Smith a few days ago - it was AMAZING and i was moved to the core of my being (used that phrasology just for you Shalina Johnson) as i realized His presence in our lives even amidst life's greatest sorrows. i definitely recommend picking it up - i've never been pregnant or lost a child and this book held much for me.
