WC VISITORS!!!!

I have talked NUMEROUS times on my blog about the fact that World Changers own a part of my heart as I served with them throughout college and really had my faith revolutionized by them as they revealed a side of Christ that I had never experienced. WELL…I am absolutely THRILLED BEYOND WORDS to say that this year the three people that I love the MOST from World Changers are ALL COMING TO VISIT!!! Each of them hold a slot in the “bridesmaid frame” and have a VERY special place in my heart! They are AMAZING ladies and I cannot wait to hug their necks. The FIRST visitor is coming NEXT WEEK!!!! AHHHHHH!!! Emily Trammell and I were teammates the summer of 2007 (immediately after I graduated from college). She came to visit California in July just before I left for Oxford in the summer of 2008 and we haven’t seen each other since. She is now graduated from college and has been working in admissions at MSU for almost a year. Our adult lives have DEFINITELY gotten in the way of visits, but I can’t wait to catch up IN PERSON and spend some time in Santa Monica, Malibu, Downtown LA, and truly experience Southern California! YAY!
The SECOND visitor is coming in the middle of April (the 17-19 to be exact) and we haven’t seen each other since the summer of 2007 when I stayed at her house for a week following my LAST World Changers experience. Susan Whitley was a summer staffer when I started in 2004 and she was also there in 2005. In 2006 she took the year off but came to visit at training and was a real support and encouragement to me while I was gone in Puerto Rico, etc. My final summer on staff Susan had officially been hired by the North American Mission Board and was working for World Changers so we got to talk A LOT – I can’t believe she went to the darkside – but I LOVE her nonetheless. She won’t be in California very long – but we have a LOT of fun with airports and Starbucks so I’m sure two days will not disappoint!
The Grand Finale of all visits will be in June when my BEST FRIEND Sara Jessica Linkous comes to visit for almost an entire week! WOOT!! We saw each other in August of 2009 and I seriously can’t believe that we are scheduled to see each other AGAIN before the year is out! SO SO SO EXCITED! We are going to spend some time in San Diego where I will officially introduce her to my family for the first time! We’ve been best friends for over 6 years and she has YET to meet Mom and Dad…Kevin, Jamie or sweet Madeline…and of course little sister, Julie. I am THRILLED that we are going to make memories in 2010! Sara and I have been able to see each other at least once a year every year since our friendship began and I praise the Lord for that. I honestly do not know what I would do without her in my life! She is a gift beyond measure!!!
SO MAJOR YAY for 2010 and WC Visitors! This is vacation time WELL SPENT!!!
