happy birthday, love my seester

Today is my birthday...and i got the absolute SWEEEEETEST email from my seester Emily. We were missionaries together the summer of 2007 and now we're WONDERFUL friends. iloveher with ALL my heart and she is coming to visit in LESS THAN ONE MONTH. Pretty much NO ONE will care about this post - but I wanted to preserve this birthday email forever...TENDER seester TENDER! “25 reasons I love being the seester of a 25-year-old!”
25. I get to go to California for random reasons
24. I get to know someone else who knows what the HOTARD signifies
23. I get the chance to see bodies explode 4 feet onto walls
22. I don’t have to be perfect; someone loves me for my flaws and humanity
21. I now know what a blended strawberry lemonade from Starbucks is
20. I have multiple new friends—Meredith, Derek, George, Izzie, Cristina, Burke and the gang
19. I have a Christmas ornament Minnie with a string between her legs
18. I get to look at a cute photo strip taken from a booth in Philly
17. I get to talk about shooting Coke commercials with Bev…and laugh about it
16. I have a seeeeeeester journal to share
15. I know how to take pictures of myself to avoid the double-chin
14. I have a cotton-candy buddy
13. I know someone else who has almost been hit by a car at like 2 a.m. while crossing the road after being at the ER for like 11 hours
12. I know that if I ask, “Want a Bud?” that I have someone who knows I’m not talking about a beer
11. I know that someone else appreciates oscillating cockroaches on fans
10. I have another friend who in no way gets the game of snaps. At all.
9. I know that I will never be told to ‘go back to where I came from’
8. I know someone else that got in trouble for ‘oversleeping’ at 5:00 a.m.
7. I have someone to skip necessary Wal-Mart trips with for unnecessary purse/CHI shopping
6. I know that if I rapidly motion my hands forming the number 2, there is no need for words to be spoken
5. I now constantly say, “TENDER!”
4. I have someone to come to my rescue if ever a girl tries to get some ‘girl on girl’ action again on me (aka Dani)
3. I have someone to reassure me that the Statue of Liberty won’t give me lice from the nasty head thing
2. I know that if I say, “TRIPONI” that I will have someone who will do the dance with me and sing the song
1. I will always remember the MOST amazing summer ever that I spent in NOLA, Philly, and OTTAWA---not because of where I went, but rather because of WHO I was with. LOVE YOU!
