{This life is not at all what I expected and yet I long to live fully and with great joy as I make the very most of my one wild and crazy adventure. Regardless of what the circumstances may hold, I have NO DOUBT there is a great and mighty plan and I am eagerly anticipating all the King has in store for me}

since i joined the blogging world several years ago when i was in college (although i only recently started posting frequently) i have realized what an incredible support system it provides for families in need. throughout the past year or so, i feel as if i've become personally acquainted with some amazing women who lead their families with strength and character and am truly inspired to live with integrity while being completely dedicated to Christ and entrusting even the smallest of details to His care. i was reading crystal's blog earlier today - i've been praying for her daughter Bentley who had open heart surgery just a bit ago - and i saw a button on her page for a little girl named April Rose. April was diagnosed with Trisomy 13 while inutero and doctors are amazed that she has survived this long. there are so many praying for this little life - that she will survive and that God will do miraculous works through her. i am definitely joining in the prayers and also just found out that $1 from the sale of each of the hoping in pink hairbows will be donated on April's behalf. I just purchased mine...
