so...i don't so much have a home to call my own...i'm 24 and share a house with 3 roommates each of which has completely different taste and personality. due to such, it is incredibly difficult to maintain any sort of continuity. additionally, since we move so much, none of us have really invested in high quality furniture or decorative items - so our home is kind of a conglomeration of this and that. ergo, i have withheld my decorative delights from show us where you live friday. HOWEVER, today is THE OFFICE...and although i most definitely do not have one in my home (although my roommates seem to think that the living room can also serve as an excellent office facility) i DO have an office that i LIVE in! ha! I remember thinking it was SO EXCITING to decorate my office when i got my job...now almost 2 years later - i don't think it is all that fantastic - but its my office...and here's your tour!
This is the view of my office from the door - you can't really see my desk at all - but DIRECTLY in your line of sight is the beautiful MONSTER of a filing cabinet in chocolate brown (oh yay and NO i didn't get to pick the color). The photos on the wall are black and whites of places i lived while serving as a missionary...new orleans, philadelphia, and canada. 
This is probably my favorite frame in my office - it is a collection of pictures of the people I served as a missionary with. In the upper left-hand corner is the New Orleans Team (Emily, Brian, Michael, and myself) next to that is Susan Whitley - absolutely one of the dearest people i've ever known. The upper right-hand corner is the Atlantic Team - we served together in Puerto Rico and Florida (that is me, Casey, Kevin Bullard, and Kevin Sanders - SO WIERD they're all married now and both Kevin's are dads! crazy!) the photo strip is of em and emily - i think we took those at a restaurant in Philly - she was the best teammate EVER i'm pretty sure! the South Team are all wearing crazy sunglasses - that is in Mobile, Alabama. Bottom Center under the big "L" for Laugh is the Tennessee Team - Me, Chris White, Lee Weaver, and Susan Griffin. the last picture in there is SWEET sara jessica linkous and I at training together our last summer on staff - she is my best friend in the world and it makes my heart SO happy to see her smiling face everyday while i work!
This is definitely the best decor in the office - i absolutely LOVE the huge clock and can't wait to find a location for it in my home someday! i can just imagine it in a dining room - DARLING!
Now we're getting over to the actual work station - this is my printer and all the letterhead, as well as the collection of pens/pencils, tape and stapler. (random fact about me - favorite writing instrument, SHARPIE! ultra fine point is the BEST BABY!) 
Here is a close up version of the card collection that sits in my window sill - these hold some of the sweetest and most wonderful words of encouragement I've ever received and I truly treasure them! i am SO blessed with amazing friends and co-workers! I really do love my job and am SO THANKFUL the Lord has given me an opportunity to serve Him while I work. I am looking forward to many things ahead - but am blessed to be where I am today!
