Last night I watched The Bachelorette with my sweet friends Megan and Kenzie – and to say it was an experience is an understatement. THAT SHOW IS HYSTERICAL! The guys are out of control, Jillian can’t hold it together, and at the end of the night there is the OH SO DRAMATIC cocktail party and rose ceremony. Now THIS is television people! Ha. Anyway, last night there were too many comedic moments to count – Dave was being a jerk (par usual) and even attempted to fix Jillian’s shirt (he didn’t want her to be indecent – a teeny tiny bit of cleavage was showing) Tanner P freaked out and thought that Juan was looking at him – which was apparently NOT AT ALL OK, Wes continued to remind Jillian that he is undoubtedly HERE FOR HER. Ahhhhh. The whole thing is just SO FUNNY to me! These guys sign up to live together while they’re all dating the same girl – sounds like a recipe for disaster. Then, America somehow expects Jillian to be a woman of character and integrity and live with morals – hello – she is the bachelorette. She may have morals in real life – but she has some very loose interpretations of them while on the show for sure! The Bachelorette is RIDICULOUS and totally TRASHY – but also absolutely HYSTERICAL and classic entertainment. LOVE IT! OOOH, and I forgot to mention - there is ONE WAY the show could be better - one of the major benefits of participating in the bachelor/bachelorette is that you get a TON of free alcohol (as Megan pointed out - always drink alcohol while on television - its a GREAT IDEA! hahaha!) - can you imagine if every time a glass of champagne got poured on the show, the television would dispense one to the viewers - and while we're at it, then let's also have the completed meals on Top Chef and the clothes from Project Runway!
{This life is not at all what I expected and yet I long to live fully and with great joy as I make the very most of my one wild and crazy adventure. Regardless of what the circumstances may hold, I have NO DOUBT there is a great and mighty plan and I am eagerly anticipating all the King has in store for me}
