On Friday I went out to dinner in San Diego with my sister-in-law, Jamie and my sweet niece Madeline. Jamie and I shared a plate at Claim Jumper while Mads enjoyed her VERY OWN baby plate...INCLUDING a generous portion of some seriously delicious homemade applesauce - you know, the kind that has all the chunks of actual apple in it - and the cinnamon sprinkled so delicately on top...you can't blame her for liking it...BUT BOY DID SHE EVER LIKE IT!!! ha!

she lunged forward to get the first bite...obviously quite hungry...
It was an instant success...look at those BIG eyes...she LOVES it...
she loves it enough to give it the "ARM PUMP"...
and then smear it ALL in her hair with a hearty look of approval.
