TONIGHT is the release of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince! YES!!! I am SO VERY excited and TOTALLY ready. Throughout the past week or so, I have re-watched the first 5 HP movies (The Sorcerer's Stone, The Chamber of Secrets, The Prisoner of Azkaban, The Goblet of Fire, & The Order of the Pheonix) and re-read book 5 and half of book 6! Its been an HP loaded couple of weeks! SUCH FUN.
Last night I watched HP5 with Kacie and Katelyn and was reminded of how much I despise the character of Bellatrix Lestrange. She is all kinds of evil and truly delights in darkness. She is perhaps the only death-eater that really has a haunting quality about her. Lucius Malfoy is another that I loathe - but he doesn't carry the same evil characteristics that Bellatrix manages to portray.

Bellatrix is played by Helena Bonham Carter - Tim Burton's wife - and appears in a lot of other dark movies. She always seems to play the character with no conscience and a writhing desire to cause physical pain and eventually death. She was in Sweeny Todd as Mrs. Lovett - the owner and manager of the meat pie bakery with Johnny Depp and is cast as the Red Queen along with Johnny Depp in Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland (which I am SO excited about!). She is definitely an intriguing character and has captivated my attention...
