well...I DID IT! I finished my Masters in Business Administration. Pending the post of a passing grade, I am now and forever more (unless I at some point in the very distant future desire another degree) Shelly Swope, MBA. wow.
i finshed my business competancy exam (COMP-XM) on Saturday at about 6:20pm and was beyond exhausted. it literally took EVERYTHING out of me - but that's ok...i MADE it. Saturday evening while i was lying on the couch attempting to recover from the intense exam, i was interrupted by a knock on the door and opened it to find my sweet friend Megan with a bottle of champagne. we had a teeny tiny celebration and then it was off to bed (or really off to Harper's Island - but neither of us had planned that at the time!) anyway, it was just so tender of her to stop by with PINK and make sure I knew that she was proud of me. she is WONDERFUL.
anyway, sunday was church and then HP 4 with Kacie and Katelyn and Becka and Nicole (we are still trying to fit in all 5 before the movie premiere on Tuesday pm - i FINISHED re-reading book 5...and am about 200 pages into book 6...if we finish movie 5 tonight, we're totally on track) and then a fabulous meal of homemade carne asada and margaritas with Steven. It was a relaxing Sunday - which is a good thing considering the week I have ahead of me.
Monday: Dinner at Islands with Becka, Kenzie, and Megan; Stamp Club; HP 5 with Kacie
Tuesday: Harry Potter PREMIERE (WOOHOOOOOo!)
Wednesday: THE DIZ with Megan
Thursday: Picnic Dinner and concert in the park with Rachey and Megan
and then we're back at Friday and ready for another weekend! yes!
