Wednesday was SNOW DAY at Ev. Free and I was NOT ABOUT TO MISS OUT on the sledding fun!!! Every year “the ice man” brings several truck loads of crushed ice to the campus for our daycare kids to play in. It’s Southern California snow!!! They have a BLAST making snowmen and then decapitating them and sledding down the manmade ice mountain that is maybe 8 ft tall at its highest point. Anyway, the kids all leave by about 1pm and then the “snow” is free game for playing in!! SO…Melody, Mindy and I went outside to release our inner child! We gleefully carried our plastic toboggans up the metal ladders to the top of the slopes and then threw our hands up in the air and slid down – high heels and all!! It was FABULOUSLY FUN. I am so thankful to work with incredible people who brighten each day – SUCH a blessing!!
