SO...as I have expressed so many times on this blog, I have a LOT of love in my heart for Ellen Degeneres. SHE IS PHENOMENAL!!! woooooooooooooot!
Ellen says if you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything - that is how she ended up on the cover of "O" in 2009. This year her goal is "world domination". Well, MY GOAL is to be on Ellen for my 25th birthday. Now obviously I can't just pick up the phone and ask the operator for Ellen Degeneres and expect that I'll be connected...so naturally, I wrote her a letter...
Dear Ellen,
I am turning 25 on Friday, March 12, 2010 and can think of no better way to celebrate the first quarter-century of my life than on your show. PLEASE invite me and my three best friends: Megan, Rebecca, and Becka to come to a taping of the show sometime during my birthday week (since it appears you are not taping on my actual birthday. SAD!).
PS if you could invite Ina Garten: the Barefoot Contessa to be a guest on the day you invite me to be in the audience, I would pretty much keel over and die on the spot!
PSS I have unending love for Joshua Radin and Jonathan Safran Foer. I know you do too!
Please make my birthday wish come true.
