i have a design blog, but i thought it might be fun to do a little monthly design RE-CAP here for my friends who don't have time to read 2 blogs...(i have busy friends ok!) i also probably won't post invites, etc. on here until the event has occured so i can include some fun pictures of the little pieces coming together.
my sweet friend Shalina threw a baby shower for her friend Kristine (who I am privledged to know BECAUSE of Shalina) and i got to make the invites! we didn't have a lot of time for dreaming before the invites needed to go to print - so these aren't my FAVORITE work ever - but i think they turned out alright and Kristine's shower was really cute...i mean who doesn't love a party with a chocolate fountain!

i also made the little favor tags - baby blue m&m's - cute and clever! the girls did a GREAT job!
february 7th was Shalina's spiritual birthday - and I like to celebrate any and ALL occassions, so i created this print of her LIFE VERSE and framed it. it was my first time working with a quatrefoil pattern - and i am in LOVE!
finally i was hired to make some beverage signs for a wedding up in san luis obispo through my friend Amber - the bride's wedding planner. although these beverage signs look relatively simple, let me tell you it took some effort to get everything right. in the end the bride loved them - and i guess that is ALL that really matters (except maybe the bride's mother - who i heard was also very pleased!)
