basically the recipe is 1 cup butter and 1 cup brown sugar...melt in a saucepan until it comes to a rolling boil. allow to simmer (stirring continuously) for 3 minutes. pour over saltine crackers (which should already be placed in a GREASED pan) and then put in the oven @ 425 degrees for another 5 minutes until the crackers are floating and the "toffee mixture" is bubbling. Remove from oven and sprinkle approximately 1 cup of chocolate chips over the top allowing time for them to melt and then spreading them over the entire thing. cool until firm and attempt to avoid overconsumption.
