writing in pencil doesn't feel easier to erase

in May i graduated from college and made a conscious decision to start writing my life's story in pencil - as to remind myself that everything was open to change - that nothing was concrete and that I was following in faith as He led me. Unfortunately, change still managed to catch me off guard....and somehow the erasable type didn't make it any easier to swallow.
